Is Pilates for you?

Pilates focuses not only on increasing your core strength, but also on breathing, strengthening the entire body, increasing flexibility and improving posture. In short, it helps you move easier and do the things you love when you aren’t here with us.

We keep classes interesting and well rounded by incorporating a variety of Pilates equipment. Our classes use the Allegro 2 Reformer, Chair, Tower, Pilates Arc and/or many other props. All of our equipment is manufactured by Balanced Body, Inc. in Sacramento. The Pilates equipment can both help a new student master an exercise and challenge a more advanced student.

I want to help people feel stronger and move

easier in their everyday lives.

Do I need a reservation for classes?

Because we limit the group classes to five students, we do require reservations for classes. Please email us at jen@auburnpilates.com or call 530.823.7800.

How Long Are Classes

Each class is 50 minutes.

I am new to Pilates, can I jump right into a group class?

We like to meet privately with each student the first time they come to the studio so we can get to know their goals and any injuries or health issues we should be aware of.

After this initial class, we usually require students who are new to Pilates to have at least three one-on-one sessions before entering a group class. In these sessions you will learn more about using the equipment and some of the fundamental exercises so you get the most out of your group class.

Cancellation Policy

If you cannot make your regularly scheduled class, please call or email the studio and we will be happy to reschedule you. We require 24 hours notice for both group classes and one-on-one sessions. Late cancellations will not be rescheduled.

What people are saying.

“Jen is amazing! I’m so grateful I discovered her studio 3+ years ago. Her studio is meticulously clean, safe and state-of-the-art. Her extensive knowledge and kind, relaxed demeanor make the hour fly by. I have a rare connective tissue disease that requires a lot of knowledge about body mechanics to prevent injury from simple movements. Jen expertly demonstrates this knowledge and makes posture corrections, and gives everyone in the group classes the kind of attention that feels like its one on one. Under her watchful eye, I feel better in my late 40’s than I have in my entire life.”

— Christina D.

Jen and Sarah are exceptional instructors who are always expanding their knowledge and introducing new innovative techniques to their classes. If you love Pilates you should definitely try this studio.”

“Jen is simply amazing! Her Pilates knowledge/technique is exceptional, and she works well with modifications due to injuries. I’ve been a client of hers for some time and I couldn’t imagine training under anyone else. My weekly Pilates session with Jen is the perfect end to a busy work week and the best start to the weekend!”
